Kaylin Barnett
Kaylin is the CEO and one of the trainers at SZS, Kaylin's background in
dog training started in an unorthodox way.... Training horses. Kaylin spent
her early years training animals in the horse world, and has now applied the
skills learned there, to a passion for training dogs.
Kaylin is an AKC Star Puppy, (CGC) Canine Good Citizen and Temperament evaluator.
Kyle Barnett
Kyle is the CFO and Head Trainer at SZS, Kyle began his background in dog training as a K-9 Handler, For nearly a decade Kyle maintained certifications through the National Police K-9 Association for himself and his K-9 Betty a German Shepherd, as they provided services around the country keeping drugs out of youth correctional facilities. After leaving his K-9 position Kyle found a passion inside of dog training, starting with teaching pets obedience and eventually developing into a desire to take on behavioral cases. To date Kyle has allowed hundreds of dogs a new lease on life by addressing extreme behavioral problems such as reactivity, handler aggression, resource and fear based aggression.
Luke Butcher
Luke is our trainer in training, Luke's desire to train dogs began at his first bite from a dog. Realizing that his in depth background in acting being a graduate of the Denver School of Performing arts, led perfectly into his ability to convince a dog that when he is the decoy, he is absolutely a bad guy. It didn't hurt that his kind and gentle demeanor worked perfectly at putting uneasy, nervous, puppies at ease.
